Candle Lighting for Justice

7:22:00 PM

I've decided to blog again, with the additional stipulation that I will be blogging about activism. This blog will be different compared to the usual bourgeoisie fashion blogs. Contrary to what the mainstream media perpetuates about militant activism, we are not against everything--it's just that most of the laws and agreements signed by the government is wrong, and in this semi-feudal, semi-colonial society, that is the norm. We maybe biased, but we are biased to the oppressed and exploitative.

Anyway, yesterday, Student Catholic Movement of the Philippines held a candle lighting ceremony commemorating the Typhoon Yolanda tragedy  and Hacienda Luisita massacre. It's been one year for Yolanda, and ten years for HLI, yet justice is still not achieved.
Normal school day: no make-up.

What can we do? Collective action, we must not stand alone during this dire times, when the injustices is very evident, we must act to stop it. We couldn't afford to lose more lives because of the criminal negligence of the government.

OUST NOYNOY!

JUSTICE FOR TYPHOON YOLANDA VICTIMS!
YES TO GENUINE AGRARIAN REFORM!
