Dear readers, I am nothing but honest. I am not the creative type. If I can be a prodigy, I wish I was an art prodigy. That’s why I didn’t take Clothing Technology in UP, because I can’t design clothes. I just want to put them together, like a good ol’ stylist I am striving to be. (That and because I couldn’t draw human hands properly and proportions often confuse me.)

But, that doesn’t mean I can’t a follow a DIY tutorial for galaxy shorts. Since I can’t and won’t take credit, I saw the tutorial here. I realized that my DIY posts are a tad misleading. There are so many DIY posts out there, and frankly, they're better at teaching how to make stuff. I'm random and I cannot reproduce a work twice, You cannot count on me with this.

Galaxy prints became a fad back in 2013, which is when I made painted this shorts but I didn’t have the opportunity to blog about this. Since I am taking a hiatus, I am finally catching up! Sorry, guys. Since the outfit's highlight is the galaxy shorts, I paired it with glittery shoes and top, to complete the stellar design. (Get it the pun?) This is also inspired by a philosophical and scientific thought: that almost every element on Earth was formed at the heart of a star. Carl Sagan made it popular by saying:
"We are all made of stardust."
Zara top, Rusty Lopez shoes

I can be a victim of the expectations vs. reality, too. But I am glad I have something I can sayd I made myself.

How about you? What are your DIY projects? Comment below!
