2015 Color of the Year: Marsala

9:23:00 PM

Hello, everybody! How's your week so far? I apologize for the inconsistency of my posts, but ever since I decided to work full time for International Women's Alliance, I didn't have the time to shoot. There are so many meetings, conferences, and mobilizations going on, that sometimes I wish the days are longer so I can do everything. Anyway. I'm not the type to swept away by the hottest trends in fashion. Unlike before when I was such a fashion slave, now I wear what I'm comfortable with. As what it should be! If you're fidgeting because you don't like what you're wearing, then people will notice and assume unpleasant things, instead of thinking how smart and confident you are.

Marsala is 2015's color. I bought this piece months before 2015, when I didn't have a clue about the year's It Color. Now, we're almost done with 2015 (Wow, time really flies!),  and since it's a -ber month, it's safe to wear a pullover plus a skirt I got from Divi at PhP150 for two. This one has a holiday print all over so I can't help but look forward to December!

  1. First of all that studded bracelet is amazing, I like, want it! Also, how cool that you are working full-time for such a meaningful company. I would love to hear more about it and what you think/what you do there. Let me know if you ever have a free moment to discuss :) I'm sure you can already guess that is an organization I would hold very near and dear to my heart!

  18. You look gorgeous, Seyra, in this marsala color! I agree with you, it's always best to wear what we feel confident and comfortable in, rather than being dictated on what we should and shouldn't wear that's of the moment. I simply love this classy and stylish pairing; thanks for the inspiration, beauty!

  26. I love marsala, I think it's a fitting color this year. Sephora did an eye shadow palette with the color of the year, and I think marsala is perfect for makeup. You look lovely. I love how you paired it with black.
