Lantern Parade 2015

9:35:00 PM

It's that time of the year again! I've always attended UP Diliman's lantern parade ever since first year (you can check out what happened last year here), and now that I'm an alumna, it's no excuse! I love the energy of all the offices and colleges in celebrating the holiday season in my university. It's also different this year because they did the first doggie parade before the lantern parade. I only took a few shots because Gabi and I missed the actual dog parade, and there were too many time changes because of the rain. But everyone pushed through!

Sorry if the photos are a bit grainy, the lens I used is not for dark settings. Enjoy!

Is it just me or did lantern parade became gloomier than last year? It's definitely because of the downpour and something else, too. I cannot pinpoint what. My first lantern parade was with Gabi and this is the 5th time now, and she always make everything better.

Afterwards, we went to Z compound in Malingap street for dinner. It's a wonderful food haven because you can pick from Thai to Japanese to Mediterranean food in just one place. And oh, you can even drink (alcohol) and order desserts, too! The prices are average, ranging from PhP100-200 for a meal. We ordered Pad Thai from Me Love You Long Time, Gabi ordered pork katsudon and I picked spicy kani maki from Samu Eats. Then we topped it off with fried oreos from Stoner's. We went back to be with our friends, and I even saw the fireworks display after the program, which I totally forgot about.

How are you spending December now? Happy holidays, everyone!
