With prom just around the corner, I can empathize with the dread and stress that comes with the planning of the hair, make-up, dress and (gulp!) date. I still can remember the two times I had my prom and I didn't put too much thought on both my junior and senior prom in high school. But I still end up having a remarkable experience. Here are some tips that can help you have the best night of your life.
1. Go to a trusted make-up artist. Trust me on this one, it will save you the horror of having hundreds of photos of you with a too-white face or excessive blush on.
2. This is connected with the first one. You should do a test run for your desired make-up and hair style. Sometimes it looks easy on photos, but in reality, it will take you 3 hours or so just to get ready. Knowing the preparation time will also rescue you from arriving too late. Also, if your dress is a backless or has a back design, choose a hair up do so every one can see that sexy back of yours.
3. Find a dress you love. You'll have at least two times to get it right, but you should definitely aim for getting the dress right the first time. Prom isn't like a wedding you can repeat whenever you want to, you know? Luckily, promtimes.co.uk can help you with that. I personally love their evening dresses and pink dresses, which are made of chiffon, tulle and other lightweight materials which are perfect for dancing the night away. They have beautiful gowns with trains for the added oomph factor. Their dresses are shipped worldwide by air freight and couriers such as DHL and UPS. And if you are wary of online shopping, don't fret for promtimes.co.uk is certified "VeriSign" by Norton Secured Seal and is also verified by Validated Site. How awesome is that?
4. The shoes matter less when you're wearing a long, flowing gown, but it matters the most when wearing a cocktail dress. Opt for a pretty, non-strappy shoes if you want to highlight your dress and your face.
5. Never ignore the accessories--it can make or break an outfit. If you have a sequined or beaded gown, it's best to keep the necklaces and bracelets at a bare minimum, or a thin silver bracelet will do. Instead of chandelier like earrings--you can wear a simple ear stud.
