Tips on How to be a Good Bridesmaid

10:10:00 PM

I love weddings. I will not get tired of being in one, no matter how cheesy the theme is, or however distance the bride is (i.e. third cousin twice removed, ha ha!). Here are some of my personal tips, not only to enjoy the wedding but to bask in the bonds of love:

1. Help the bride. Hey, it's on your job description for that day!  I've been to so many weddings, and most of the time, I always play the wedding coordinator/errand person role. You can help in small ways, like making sure the caterers arrive on time or checking if the dove's cages are properly secured. There are things that can go wrong, and it's nice that you are part of the team that helped in minimizing risks and disasters. Help in creating the event as memorable as possible, in the happiest way.

2. Don't get too drunk during the reception. Your cousin's wedding is not one of those fraternity parties we all went to during college. Even if you're mending a broken heart, that's not an excuse to lash out, especially on a day when all should be celebrating.

3. Look your best! Even if that's not your day, you can still look good and feel good. Why not, right? Good thing there is Canada Bridals, that offers cheap prom dresses and short dresses. Their dresses are amazing--with handmade beadings, intricate appliques and sexy cuts. They offer 24/7 Hours Service, meaning all your orders and questions will be handled in 24 hours, no matter the time difference. Also, if you find the same product with lower price from other e-tailers (like Buy and Amazon), they will refund the price difference. And, they offer accessories like wraps, bras, shoes and jewelry sets. Their collections are perfect for every bridesmaid, maybe then you will get to meet your future groom? Just kidding! Or... not.

  2. I think it is all about being there for the bride and taking care of the small tasks that occur throughout the wedding so she can relax.
